McAfee SECURE Rebrand Hero

When McAfee went through a major rebrand to update its iconic brand, we were responsible for updating the McAfee SECURE sub-brand which was operated by TrustedSite at the time. While the team was excited for the rebrand and the potential to update the look and feel of the product, there was also a worry that brand recognition among loyal users might be affected negatively.
The ensure the continued success of the brand, the marketing team decided to launch a large rebranding campaign that would be a multi-step, multi-channel outreach effort to promote the new brand both with our ecommerce merchants and the end-consumers who interact with the product. At the center of this campaign was the motion content that would be used in ad campaigns, website, social media, emails, and in-product.
DESIGNING A DYNAMIC ECOMMERCE FUNNEL
Funnels are key parts of many tech products and provide an easy to follow narrative. But visually they can be complex and overwhelm the eye. A minimalist shape with dynamic motion, like this high-contrast red cube, works as a visual metaphor and guide.
MOVEMENT AND COLOR
A cube doesn’t have to be just a cube. It can convey attitude and intent when layered with visual metaphors that rely on color, rotation, direction and more.
